2012 USTA Fall League

Hey Tennis Friends!

It’s a brand new season for USTA League Tennis, and I’ve got a partner who is brand new to playing USTA League Tennis. Let’s see how well we match up our playing styles, communication, and, of course, the all-important . . . apparel!

PROGRAMMING NOTE: My USTA League reports are time delayed in favor of the daily and/or more timely reports during weeklong events. This match actually took place during the first week of September, during the U.S. Open.

For this USTA Fall League season, each team must field three doubles matches.

Our first set lasted 30 minutes.
Our second set lasted 37 minutes.

As I had mentioned before, this is Javier’s first time playing USTA League Tennis. Based on the criteria on the USTA website, he was rated a 3.5 level player. Javier is able to play on this team, as long as his rating is less than, or equal to, the team’s 4.0 rating. I couldn’t be happier, introducing another Tennis Friend to USTA League play!

My results, so far, for this season are:

Local District/Area 4.0 Doubles
0-wins, 1-loss

I’ll see you next time, with more tennis, . . . outside the lines!
