2010 USTA Spring League III

Hey Tennis Friends!

For this week’s USTA Spring League match, our team was going up against one of the two undefeated teams in our league. I’m not sure why none of our regular singles players weren’t on the schedule for this match, but, I’m always up for the challenge!

I hung in there for 49 minutes (which was two minutes longer than my last doubles loss), but couldn’t keep up my consistency like my opponent did. I think that I was getting hoarse from saying, “Good shot!”

My results for this season, so far, are:

Local District/Area 4.0 Singles
1-1
Local District/Area 4.0 Doubles
(with partner rated 4.0) 0-1

I’ll see you next time, with more tennis, . . . outside the lines!

    It’s alright Mark…”LB” is a fixture at this level and he is a tough player…you’ll get there! Keep fighting and blogging about it!!!
