Hey Tennis Friends!
I’m so glad that I was invited to join this team. I have made it to a couple of their practice evenings, and, as I mention often on this site, have met new friends!
This match was actually played near the end of July. This was the last match that I was able to play for this Tri-Level season. Since these reports are time delayed, I had spent the next four weeks doing daily reports from the LA Tennis Open, LA Women’s Tennis Championships, and the Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open and Masters.
Our captain did a great job of getting some tough players together. Now that the season is over, the final result for our team was 5 wins and 1 loss. We won our area! Hopefully I’ll get an interview with our captain when we go to sectionals. Stay tuned!
