2012 USTA Fall League V

Hey Tennis Friends!

It’s a new season here at GroundsPass.net, but, because of the holiday hiatus, I still have a few reports to share from last year. This one continues my documentation of my USTA Fall League season.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: My USTA League reports are time delayed in favor of the daily and/or more timely reports promoting other events. This match actually took place during the second week of October.

We were up 8-7 in the first set tiebreak, and Javier was serving it out, but, unfortunately, we lost the next three points.

Our first set lasted 52 minutes.
Our second set lasted 32 minutes.

My results, so far, for this season are:

Local District/Area 4.0 Doubles
0-wins, 5-losses

I’ll see you next time, with more tennis, . . . outside the lines!

  1. John Raattama says:

I should video my tennis play because my form really stinks. My swing is too long. Bad posture. Whimpy serve. I need to take some lessons because I had no idea how bad I look out on a tennis court. Thanks Marcus for filming that. It was an eye opener.

  2. Obviously, I video myself on this site all of the time, . . . it hasn’t improved MY game 😛

  3. Rich Neher says:

Who were you playing, Marcus? Does it say anywhere?

  4. No, Rich, it does not. I keep my opponents anonymous, for the most part, . . . even though TECHNICALLY it IS a “public performance” 🙂
