Hey Tennis Friends!
This is me with my friend and volunteer usher, Anne. I met Anne when she was a volunteer usher last year at this event, as well. We have stayed in touch through email, and were able to watch some tennis together this year, . . . after her shift, of course 🙂
That’s one of the best things about going to a tennis event, you can make friends pretty easily because you already have an interest in tennis in common. Last year, Anne’s boyfriend and I sat together watching matches, and had a great time!
Volunteering at a pro event is a great way to meet people, help out the tournament, and see the action on the courts, without buying a ticket! There are always many opportunities at all of these events, so visit their websites and look for the volunteering information.
