2012 BNP Paribas Open V

March 13th, 2012

Hey Tennis Friends!

In today’s report, you will see a highlight that you rarely see! Not only that, but, it is EXCLUSIVE to GroundsPass.net!

The John Isner / Sam Querrey v. Marcos Baghdatis / Jurgen Meltzer doubles match had not only been rescheduled for the this day, but, it was redrawn, with the alternates being the Argentinean team. Apparently, Jurgen Melzer pulled out with an illness. He had caught the same virus that I had on Saturday.

The results for the matches that I featured are:

Maria Kirilenko d. Lourdes Dominguez Lino 6-2, 4-6, 6-4

John Isner / Sam Querrey
d. Carlos Berlocq / Juan Ignacio Chela 6-4, 5-7 [10-4]

Thomas Berdych d. Andy Roddick 6-3, 4-6, 6-2

Caroline Wozniacki d. Sofia Arvidsson 3-6, 7-5, 6-2

Hey Tennis Friends!

The weather out here is fantastic for the 2012 BNP Paribas Open at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden:

My apologies for the delay on this report. I caught an overnight illness that prevented me from my normally timely posting, and may prevent me from attending Day 4.

The results for the matches that I featured are:

David Nalbandian d. Potito Starace 7-6(4), 6-0

Vania King d. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-4, 6-4

2012 BNP Paribas Open II

March 9th, 2012

Hey Tennis Friends!

It’s the first day of the men’s main draw for the 2012 BNP Paribas Open at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden:

CORRECTION: I misspelled Santiago Giraldo’s last name in the video. It is “G-i-r-a-l-d-o”, not “G-e-r-a-l-d-o”.

Helping me close the show was sports and entertainment broadcaster Kevin Frazier. He just signed on with CBS television’s “The Insider”.

The results for the matches that I featured are:

Santiago Giraldo d. Jack Sock 5-7, 6-0, 6-1

Timea Bacsinszky / Alberta Brianti
d. Svetlana Kuznetsova / Vera Zvonareva 6-1, 6-4

2012 BNP Paribas Open

March 8th, 2012

Hey Tennis Friends!

It’s the first day of the women’s main draw for the 2012 BNP Paribas Open at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden:

The results for the matches that I featured are:

Kimiko Date-Krumm d. Pauline Parmentier 6-1, 6-3

Pauline Parmentier did not look like she was having a good tennis day. Kimiko Date-Krumm was solid and consistent, and that is what got it done today.

Paolo Lorenzi d. Daniel Kosakowski 6-2, 7-6(4)

Daniel Kosakowski was down 3-5 in the second set, and made a great comeback to bring it to a tiebreaker. Paolo Lorenzi was too steady, and won the tiebreaker 7-4.
