Hey Tennis Friends!
It’s my first day of coverage of the main event at the Farmers Classic, presented by Mercedes-Benz!
Here are the final scores from the matches that I featured, with their current ranking in parenthesis:
(#89) Igor Andreev d. (#114) Dudi Sela 7-6(4), 6-4
(#91) Paolo Lorenzi d. (#613) Bradley Klahn 6-4, 3-6, 6-0
It was great to see Klahn still battling his heart out, even when he was down 0-5 in the third, and match point. He refused to “play it safe” and really went for the lines! He saved five match points, and even had a break point! A great effort by the recent Stanford graduate!

Thanks for the report Marcus. I have seen Sela a few times at the Vancouver Challenger when we lived there.
Yeah, I like to watch him play, to pick up tips, ’cause he’s a short guy, like me!
