Hey Tennis Friends!
By now you know that everyday at this event is a ton of fun. Equally as entertaining are the happenings surrounding the match play. Today was my last day at the East West Bank Classic, so I’ll leave you with a taste of what happens off the court:
The Tennis Village is a great place to walk around between matches. There are various tennis related booths from tennis vacation spots, to better fitness, to clothing and jewelry. It’s like going to a “tennis specific” mall!
The main draw board is always a good place to meet up if you get lost from your party. You can also track the results of your favorite player, and make plans for who you want to see the following day. I’ve met many people here just by discussing the days events and prognosticating the future results. Remember, at these events, you are surrounded by tennis fans. Plus, it’s a great photo spot!
The Saturday Night Fireworks Spectacular, presented by The Home Depot, was, . . . um, . . . well, . . . spectacular!
Next week the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters from Cincinnati.
I’ll see you next time, with more tennis, . . . outside the lines!
