Hey Tennis Friends!
It’s my final day of coverage at the Carlsbad Classic!
It was Thanksgiving day here in the United States, and it was odd for me not to be with family . . . However, I was surrounded by Tennis Friends. The ones that are crazy enough to leave their traditions behind, just to watch some pro tennis, are the best kind. Here’s my report:
Here are the results for the matches that I featured:
SECOND ROUND SINGLES (with seedings):
(1) Yanina Wickmayer d. Kristie Ahn 7-5, 6-3
CiCi Bellis d. Kat Stewart 6-2, 5-7, 6-4
What a great match! Truth be told, I was hoping it would go three sets, just so that I could see more tennis from these two. Kat actually saved two match points, too!
